Our Functionality tests are focused in verifying that the product under test conforms to its functional specification. Our tests will examine that all required features are implemented and produce desired results as specified in product SRS.

If you have a Feature List or SRS, our tests will follow the same. Else, we understand the application, draw a detailed feature list and get it verified by you before commencement of testing. The aim is to make sure that the testers understand each implemented feature with their desired functionality.

Based on the feature-list/SRS, our testers design meticulous Test Cases. A traceability matrix ensures that all features are covered within test cases so that no feature is left untested.

The actual test process starts with simple smoke and exploratory test to ensure primary functional operation, and then move on to detailed testing covering the following.

•  Equivalence Cases and Boundary Values
•  validating that all output meets specified expectations
•  input invalid and erroneous data
•  variety of scenarios

Defects are filed using industry standard Defect Tracking Tools. Complete test documentation (Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Matrix etc.) are provided to clients at the end of testing cycle.
